About Dr. Falguni Parikh 
Dr Falguni Parikh is a consultant in Internal Medicine at Kokilaben Dhirubai Ambani Hospital since 2008. Her expertise is in the management of patients with multisystem involvement and diagnostic challenges. In addition, her clinical and special interests focus on Tropical medicine, infectious diseases including HIV and Tuberculosis, hypertension. She runs the Adult Immunization Clinic. Dr. Parikh is a teacher for DNB Medicine students at KDAH. Dr. Parikh completed her advanced Medical degree in MD Medicine from BYL Nair charitable Hospital and Topiwala National medical college in 1994. Before joining KDAH, she served as a senior faculty for 16 years in the Department of Medicine at her alma mater. Dr. Parikh worked for Fifteen years as a faculty (Assistant professor followed by the Associate professor) in Internal Medicine at the prestigious B.Y.L. Nair hospital and Topiwala National Medical College which is a 1500 bedded multispecialty tertiary care hospital with a medical college situated in South Mumbai. She has wide experience in handling patients with multiple medical issues. During her tenure at Nair Hospital, she was attached to Tropical Medicine Clinic and Hypertension Clinic right from its inception in 1993. In addition, she was also In charge of 23 bedded closed Medical Intensive Care Unit. She along with her team was instrumental in upgrading the ICU services to meet quality standards of ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2005 which is a landmark achievement for a public hospital in India. In addition to clinical services She has been actively involved in medical education and taught undergraduate and postgraduate students and has guided postgraduate students in their dissertation for MD and DNB programmes.
